TWO Ealing pubs have been included in Londonist's best West London beer gardens guide.

Among the top 13 choices from across West London, Londonist has included Drayton Court Hotel in West Ealing and The Grange in Ealing Common.

According to the Fuller's website, Drayton Court Hotel has the 'biggest beer garden in London'.

Londonist 'raises an eyebrow' at that comment and leaves it to readers to judge for themselves.

The article adds: "Not just noted for its size, the garden also contains a ping pong table, its own bar and various other outdoor games to keep the party swinging."

Although The Grange's garden isn't as big, Londonist instead refers to the 'riot of colour and abundant palm trees' which give this 'compact space a tropical feel'.

The article adds: "Yet it's also a good bet for a rainy British afternoon, with numerous gazebos, big umbrellas, and the half-in-half-out option of a conservatory."

Other West London pubs included in the guide are:

  • The Black Lion, Hammersmith
  • The Dove, Hammersmith
  • Duke of Sussex, Chiswick
  • The Eagle, Ravenscourt Park
  • Grand Junction Arms, Harlesden
  • The London Apprentice, Isleworth
  • The Marlborough, Richmond
  • The Old Orchard, Harefield
  • The Phene, Chelsea
  • Queen's Head, Brook Green
  • The White Swan, Twickenham
