Two men from Ealing have been jailed for attacking a man in the town centre, but two others still remain on the run.

Sahal Sharif, 25 and Osman Abdi, 21 attacked a 32-year-old man on July 20 2019, following a verbal altercation and left him unconscious with a fractured skull and facial injuries.

Sharif of no fixed abode and Abdi of Penard Road, Southall were found guilty of GBH and violent disorder at Isleworth Crown Court last month.

The pair have now been sentenced to six years in prison, after the victim was able to attend court and provide evidence.

Sharif is believed to have fled the country and officers are attempting to locate him.

The police are also appealing to the public for help in identifying another two male suspects who are believed to be linked to the assault.

Members of the public can get in touch on 101 and quote reference 1088/20JUL19, or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
