The café bar group Lounge have established their first London site in Ealing Broadway.

Castano Lounge opened its doors on Wednesday, 12 January, offering Ealing a 'home from home' with their casual dining and drinking experience.

Founded in Bristol by three long standing friends Dave Reid, Alex Reilley and Jake Bishop, with years of experience in the restaurant and bar trade, they decided to set somewhere up themselves.

Since their first site opening in 2002 they now have establishments across the UK, however this will be the first in London, with another set to open soon in Wembley.

Part of their business ethos is to connect with the community by working with local groups, charities, organisations and businesses.

When a new site opens, they donate 50p from every burger and 20p from every coffee sold to a local charity, which they calculated equates to an average of £1,000 donated to local charities for each new opening.

Members of the community are encouraged to contact the nearest store if you can think of ways your local Lounge can help the community.

Tasty deals

There are three food deals throughout the week to wet Ealing resident's appetite:

The Breakfast Club deal, with a Lounge or Veggie Breakfasts and a hot drink for £8.85, Monday to Friday until 12pm.

Cheeky Mondays where you can get a free drink or pudding with any special, main or burger purchase from 5pm on Mondays.

The opening has provided a number of new hospitality jobs in the area, with vacancies still open for a chef, front of house supervisor and kitchen porter.

The Lounge sites are dog friendly, child friendly and offer vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free menus as well as food to takeaway.

Opening times: Sunday – Wednesday, 9am to 11pm and Thursday – Saturday, 9am to midnight.
