Windrush Secret written, directed and performed by Rodreguez King-Dorset returns to Watermans on Friday 13 October at 7.30pm.

Windrush Secret set in 2018, is about a young white far-right racist party leader, a black Caribbean diplomat and an Oxford educated Home Office government official who are giving speeches on the same day, at different times, in separate locations about a million people who migrated from the Caribbean to Britain between 1948 and 1973 and the British political scandal which began in 2018.

One of them has a dark secret that he struggles to come to terms with during his fiery speech – it will change his life forever!

Watermans is presenting Windrush Secret as part of Black History Month.

Writer and Director Rodreguez King-Dorset said: "I have to reveal a 'secret' of my own! The play is not really about my three characters as individuals - it's about them as humans and our human condition - how all humans are fallible."

Mark Ludmon wrote in his review on www.britishtheatre.com said: "As a piece of political theatre, it searingly brings to life the cruelty of Britain's immigration system and, more generally, the cruel and cynical way that populist governments and politicians dehumanise and oppress marginalised minorities."
