GREENFORD Quay, a new housing development on the Grand Union Canal has announced its Summer Series, which will take place from later this month and run until August.

It all kicks off later this week with Euro 2020, with matches being screened at the amphitheatre from this Friday, June 11.

From June 28, a pop-up cinema along with food carts will also be available for people to enjoy a taste of summer.

The Summer Series itself includes a wide range of open-air entertainment, from musical performances, to quizzes and comedy shows.

On the first weekend in August, Greenford Quay will host a summer party on its Grenan Square, which will offer family entertainment, food carts and giant games outside.

On the remaining Saturdays in August, there will be a variety of workshops and live theatre events for families.

Paul Naylor, the Community Manager at Greenford Quay, said: "We are thrilled to announce our Summer Series at Greenford Quay, bringing together the local community after an unprecedented year.

"Our on-site team is dedicated to offering an exceptional service and the Summer Series is just the start of an exciting future at Greenford Quay.

"Specific timings will be posted on our social channels and events tab of the Greenford Quay website."
