1. London Wall - The Questors Theatre
About: After accepting a role as a typist in a solicitor's office, fresh-faced Pat is soon exposed to the harsh reality of the 1930s workplace – and specifically the attentions of slimy Office Manager, Brewer.
Gender and sex politics come to the fore in John Van Druten's prescient comedy.
Revived by the Finborough in 2013, The Guardian's four-star review described London Wall as a play "with a social purpose" that "still has some pertinent things" to say about "sexual double standards and the exploitation of women."
When: 13 to 20 July.
Where: 12 Mattock Ln, London W5 5BQ
Price: See website for prices.
2. Grayson Perry: The Vanity of Small Differences
About: Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery in Ealing, London, are hosting Grayson Perry's exhibition, The Vanity of Small Differences.
This significant cultural event displays Perry's six monumental tapestries for the first time in the historic house where William Hogarth's A Rake's Progress, the inspiration for the series, were bought for and displayed—providing a remarkable opportunity to draw parallels between two artists who, despite being separated by centuries, share a profound interest in the moral and social narratives of their times.

Where: Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery, Ealing Grn, London W5 5EQ
