3. Christmas Pop-Up - Home of Modern Makers

About: Home of Modern Makers are returning to Ealing on 14th December with a Christmas Pop-up.

Home of Modern Makers was formed by 6 Designer friends when the independent gift shop "All Original" in Ealing, where they all sold their work, closed suddenly in 2023.

'Sharing our wealth of experience and creativity we have, over the past 12 months, created a series of West London Pop Up Markets.'

Bringing you a collection of unique gift ideas from 21 carefully curated creatives including Ceramics, Prints, Jewellery, Textiles, Handknitted Children's Wear and Vintage Collectables to name a few. Pop in and support these small businesses, your custom is always hugely valued and appreciated.

4. Tree Planting Event - Tiny Forest

Tiny Forest is hosting a tree planting event in Hanger Hill Park tomorrow (credit: Image supplied).

About: Come and plant a new Tiny Forest at Hanger Hill Park, Ealing.  

A Tiny Forest is a dense, fast-growing, native woodland made up of 600 trees planted in a tennis court-sized plot. They are not only an attractive location for wildlife but are great for people to enjoy as well and can provide a range of benefits in the fight against climate change.

The organisers strongly recommend wearing long sleeves and long trousers, plus footwear for a day in the outdoors, such as wellies/walking boots. 

When: Friday, 13 December. Session 1 - 10am - 12pm and Session 2 – 1pm - 3pm.
