A man aged in his forties is in a "serious condition" at hospital after he was attacked with a bottle in Ealing last week.

Another man, in his twenties, was taken to hospital earlier on Monday, July 18, after he was assaulted with a bottle on Lady Margaret Road in Southall on the same day.

Detectives are treating this as an attempted murder case and have appealed to the public for information.

In particular, officers have asked for help in identifying the two men pictured. The first CCTV image released by Ealing police shows a man with dark ear-length hair held off his face by a hairband. He is wearing a white vest top. The second image shows a man in a white polo shirt and grey shorts. He is carrying a dark blue bag across his body and sunglasses on his head.
