EALING Police have raided a shisha bar in Southall where they found 29 people hidden inside.

The incident took place on Monday, January 11.

The owner of the bar has been issued with a fine, but no mention has been made on whether the customers would also face any punishment.

Officers in the video can be heard telling people that they shouldn't be there and that they should be taking things more seriously.

The Met's Deputy Assistant Commissioner, Matt Twist said: "The NHS is under significant strain and the actions by some people to hold parties or large gatherings is frankly shameful.

"In those cases where people have made it clear they are prepared to put lives in danger by holding large gatherings, we will move swiftly to enforcement."
