Police combat anti-social youths throwing fireworks in Greenford

Nearly 30 police officers were deployed to Greenford on Tuesday (November 1) to tackle Halloween related anti-social behaviour.

Officers dispersed a crowd of youths throwing fireworks and used measures including stop and search to restore peace to the neighbourhood in Ealing.

Ealing Police today re-tweeted the work MPSSpecials shared on Tuesday.

It wrote on Twitter: "27 @MPSSpecials and the #WestArea PC Coordinator deployed to assist with Halloween related disorder in the WA BCU.

"After dispersing a crowd throwing fireworks in #Greenford we conducted patrols totalling nearly 30 stop and searches. Fireworks were seized and minors sent home."
