The Ealing Civic Society has made a green plaque in honour of the late singer songwriter, Kirsty MacColl.

MacColl lived and recorded at 48 Mount Park Road W5 for the last 15 years of her life.

The plaque was unveiled by MacColl's son, Louis Lillywhite, in front of the house owners Darren and Sharon Size.

Friends, neighbours and members of the Society's Executive were in attendance too.

Ealing Civic Society says the timing is "perfect" because a new eight CD box set of MacColl's music titled See That Girl 1979-2000 was recently released.
