Local councillors, MPs and members of the community gathered at War Memorials across Ealing to commemorate the sacrifice of our armed forces, past and present.

Here are some photos from the Remembrance Sunday parades in Ealing and thoughts of people who attended.

Virendra Sharma MP laid a wreath at the Southall War Memorial on Sunday. He said: "It was my honour to attend the Remembrance Sunday service at the Southall War Memorial today, remembering all those who fought for us. It was lovely to see so many, including the Mayor of Ealing, paying their respects. Thank you to all those who came."

Wreaths were laid outside Pitshanger Manor. A spokesperson said: "Today at Pitzhanger we held a special Remembrance Day event honouring those who we have lost."

Rupa Huq MP said she was honoured to lay a wreath at the Ealing War Memorial on Sunday.
