The victim, a 40-year-old man, was stabbed around 7.30pm on Haymill Close in Perivale, a road moments away from South Greenford railway station.

Police rushed to the scene with paramedics who took the man to a nearby hospital. He survived the attack, with police describing his condition as non-life threatening.

A London Ambulance spokesperson said: "We were called at 7:35pm today (3 October) to reports of a stabbing in Argyle Road.

"We sent a number of resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, a clinical team leader, an incident response officer and we also dispatched medics from London's Air Ambulance.
