One arrested after morning drugs bust in Southall

A person has been arrested following a drugs bust on a property in Southall this morning (Monday, August 8).

Police officers from Southall SNT and the Area Command Unit for west London executed a drugs warrant upon a property on West End Road.

There officers found and seized cannabis and apprehended a suspect for drugs offences.

A brief video posted on Twitter showed officers on the cusp of executing the warrant. In a statement with the footage, Southall SNT said: "Officers from Southall SNT and across the West Area Command Unit have executed a Drugs Warrant on West End Road, Southall this morning.

"Quantities of cannabis found, seized and Suspect apprehended. We will continue to tackle drugs and associated violence through #OpAdna."
