Northolt pensioner suffers cardiac arrest in the street after falling from a height

A pensioner from Northolt has died after suffering a cardiac arrest following after having fallen from a height. 

Police and paramedics were called to the Farmlands by Northolt station at 7.22am on Monday 27th March after reports of a man in his 70s having suffered a cardiac arrest in the street. 

Police said that the man's injuries were consistent with having fallen from a height and that the cause of his death is "unexplained", but it is not being treated as suspicious. 

Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the man was pronounced dead the scene. 

A spokesperson from the Metropolitan Police said: "Officers are working to inform his next of kin. The death is being treated as unexpected and unexplained, but at this early stage, not suspicious. A forensic scene is in place."
