A CAR has crashed into the front of JJ Food and Wine store on Churchfield Road in Acton.

The incident took place around 5pm yesterday (July 3), with police arriving promptly at the scene and sealing it off.

The storefront was badly damaged, but luckily no one was injured.

An officer at the scene said: "The guys working here managed to get out before it even happened, which is good."

The owners of JJ Food & Wine are appealing for witnesses to come forward as their CCTV cameras were not working during the time of the crash.
