Ninth floor flat in Acton catches on fire

A flat in in Acton caught fire on Sunday, 2 June where part of the kitchen was destroyed. 

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters from the London Fire Brigade (LFB) were called to the scene where a block of flats was in flames on Victoria Road, Acton.

The fire brigade was called at 1:14pm and the incident was under control just over two hours later at 3:21pm.

LFB says two men were present at the scene; however, they left the property before the fire brigade arrived.

There were no reported deaths or injuries caused by the fire.

The various fire crews at the scene were from Ealing, Willesden, Park Royal and Acton fire stations.
