A pop-up gallery in Ealing Broadway is hosting a "meet the artists" event later this month to check out what the local creators have to offer.

Customers are invited to meet the painters, potters and jewellers who exhibit their work at The Pop up Gallery on the 11th and 18th, November.

Guests can also enjoy a complimentary drink from 6-9pm.

The gallery features work by 14 West London artists, who make original but affordable pieces.

The two late evenings will offer refreshments, free gift wrapping and special offers ahead of the Christmas period.

Mud Lark jeweller Madeleine Marsh will also give a talk on her passion for reclaiming historic fragments and turning them into adornments at 6:15pm on 18, November.

Other artists include Luis Alvarez from New York, who produces urban street art inspired originals and prints, many featuring old book pages.

You can pick up originals and a new range of Don't Panic mugs from £15.

Or start your children's art collection off with prints by Raph Thomas.

His colourful rainbow animals start at £45 framed and, for an extra £10, they can be personalised with Vintage Scrabble!

Kate Winskill is an artist and jewellery maker, making items from an eclectic range of discarded items such as old spoons, wooden rulers and watches, with one-off pieces from £6-£45.

Fancy something Ealing inspired? Stephen Doak's cartoon sheep Colin visits all the local landmarks.

Buy a framed print for £45 and get a free Colin tote bag.

Hand made in Ealing, Janet White's two ranges of ceramics include textured seascape vessels and her Chinese inspired blue and white motifs on dishes, vases and bowls.

A gallery spokesperson said: "Looking for sustainable gifts? Fed up with mass produced offerings? Our artists have also created special pieces from £5- £50, and unique Christmas cards - something for everyone - gifts made with thought for Christmas that can give a lifetime of pleasure.

"So if you are looking for a unique, lasting gift, unaffected by global delivery problems, head along to the pop up gallery."

Find the store in Ealing Broadway opposite Pandora, near Tesco.

The gallery is normally open daily 11am-5pm and 10am-6pm on Saturday.
