Man rescued from care home fire in Southall

One man was rescued from a fire at a care home in Southall by the London Fire Brigade at around 3am on Monday 15th May. 

The London Fire Brigade was called to a care home on Osterley Park Road in Southall at 3.41am on Monday 15th May. 

Six fire engines and 40 firefighters from Southall, Heston, Hayes, Ealing and Hillingdon were called to deal with the fire and one man was rescued by the crews. 

The man was rescued from the building wearing a breathing apparatus and has been taken to hospital, no other injuries have been reported. 

The incident was brought to a conclusion by 4.51am by the fire crews and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
