Man charged following fatal collision on the A40

A man has been charged by police following an incident in which a woman died following a collision on A40 near the Park Royal underground station.

Rida Kazem, 23, of Costons Avenue, Greenford in Ealing, was charged on Monday 12th December with the offences of: causing death by dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, and failing to provide a sample of blood.

The collision happened at 3:48am on Monday 22nd August on the westbound A40 near the Park Royal underground station.

A 33-year-old woman died at the scene and her family has been informed of the charge and continue to be supported by officers.
