A 25-year-old man has been jailed for firearms, weapons and drugs offences.

Billal Rezkallah was arrested by South Acton police and jailed on July 7 for possession of an imitation firearm, possession of a pointed article in a public place and possession of cannabis, as well as for the obstruction of a drug search.

Hillingdon Police commended colleagues in the South Acton local policing team for their arrest of Rezkallah in a Tweet.

They wrote: "Billal Rezkallah, 25, of Wright Close, Bushey was jailed, on 7/7 for the offences of possession of an imitation firearm, being in possession of a pointed article in a public place, possession of cannabis and obstructing a drug search.

"Great arrest by @MPSSouthActon."
