Latest stage of Acton Gardens development gets green light from Ealing Council

Ealing Council has agreed to go ahead with phase 7.2 in the latest stage of the Acton Gardens development.
The £800million regeneration project will further improve the former South Acton Estate.
The next phase will mean another section of the Avenue Road frontage will comprise of 185 new flats.
Of these flats, 44 will be for active living (independent apartments eligible for over 55s).
The developer, Countryside, is also working closely with L&Q housing association to create a new courtyard garden.
The works are expected to begin this year, with the first completions due in 2024.
The Acton Gardens project will eventually have 3,464 homes, half of which will be officially deemed 'affordable'.
