The successful candidate will assist the development and delivery of the West London strategic housing & homelessness programme, supporting the WLA boroughs in achieving a step change in the delivery of affordable housing and addressing the homelessness crisis.

The role requires outstanding relationship management and negotiation skills together with the ability to facilitate exceptional partnership working between West London local authorities and other partners locally, regionally and nationally, including developers, housing providers, the voluntary and community sector, the GLA and government departments.

This position is for a fixed period of 24 months with the possibility of an extension.

External candidates will be offered a fixed-term contract and existing Ealing council employees will be offered the opportunity of a secondment.

The role is envisaged as a full-time post of up to 35 hours, with scope for flexibility or part-time and a salary between £40,869 - £42,855 p/a.
