The successful candidate will co-operate with the Shift lead within the supported living in providing a happy, caring and secure home background for Service Users.

Duties and responsibilities may include:

· To facilitate and enable Service Users to access and utilise the resources and activities available within the community

· To liaise on a regular basis with Service Users' families, friends, advocates and any professionals as necessary

· To ensure all Service Users are Safeguarded in accordance with local policies at all times

· Competent in the administration of medication

· Help menu plan and assist with preparation or cooking as required

· To carry out any other reasonable duties which are within the scope of this post

Key Attributes:

· You will be required to demonstrate that you are able to work well with others and demonstrate respect towards your colleagues

· Act as a positive role model to both Service Users and staff

· Demonstrate flexibility in order to deliver a high quality service

· Demonstrate honesty and integrity at all times

· Understand the importance of maintaining professional boundaries

· Deal with issues promptly and effectively, notifying the Shift lead if assistance is required
