'Tis the season – to recycle your Christmas tree, as Ealing Council are offering recycling services in the borough this month.

Recycled trees will be turned into mulch which will be used in parks and allotments across Ealing.

From today, residents can leave their trees on the front edge of their property to have it taken away for recycling.

Trees will be collected on the same day as your refuse collection (black bin) each alternate week until 29 January.

Tree trunks must not exceed 20cm in diameter or be more than six feet tall (taller trees can be cut in two), with all decorations removed and residents are reminded that the service is for real trees only, not synthetic ones.

Alternatively, you can also take your Christmas tree to the listed (below) council parks and open spaces up until 29 January 2022, or to Greenford Reuse and recycling centre.

Recycling centre slots must be booked in advance.
