A man from Hounslow has been sentenced to over three years in prison after Ealing Met Police officers caught him with 61 wraps of crack cocaine, heroin and a zombie knife.

Following a patrol around Inverness road in Hounslow on 3 October 2024, officers from the West Area Proactive team suspected Yassin Okako to be drug dealing.

After a foot chase Okako was detained and found with large amounts of Class A drugs.

Officers later found a large zombie knife and cash after searching his car and home address.

Okako has been sentenced to three years and two Months at Isleworth Crown Court for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of an offensive weapon.

The man pleaded guilty to all charges at his first case hearing yesterday (25 November) so his sentence was reduced from five to three years and two months for an early guilty plea.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) Ealing Met Police officers said: "Removing that knife has saved someone's life! #guilty #convicted #CommunityCrimeFighting
