Last night's (Monday, 8 July) Love Island episode saw two new islanders enter the villa, one of which plays for Hanwell Town FC in Ealing.

Better known as the striker for the Geordie side, Josh Oyinsan, 29, has swapped his football boots for beach shorts as he joins ITV's Love Island series 11.

The Nigerian entered the villa alongside new contestant Reuben who both look to find love on the programme.

Speaking to Nub News, Hanwell Town Manager, Chris Moore, revealed that he will be rooting for his player to win the £50,000 prize but hopes Oyinsan is back before the start of next season.

Moore said: "Josh called and asked my opinion on him going in. I told him he has to take it as it's potentially life changing in terms of work and spin offs as it's obviously a huge tv show.

"He's a good lad with a big personality so I'm looking forward to see how he gets on."

Oyinsan, who signed from Hemel Hempstead Town this summer, is an important figure for the Ealing based side who nearly faced relegation from the Southern Premier League South last season.

"It's created a huge buzz around our fans and everyone at the club wishes him all the best," Moore said.

"I hope he doesn't last too long though as we have a big season ahead and he has a huge part to play."

The manager continued: "He's super important! He scored goals for us last season which helped us survive our relegation battle."

Previous seasons of Love Island have lasted eight weeks so assuming Oyinsan makes it to the final, he could be in the villa until the end of July.
