HANWELL Community Library will be reopening its doors to the public later this week, under new management.

The library, located on Cherington Road, is reopening on Wednesday, June 23, at 10am.

This week the library will open again on Thursday (June 24) 2pm-5pm and Saturday (June 26) 11am-3pm.

Going forward, from next week the library will open four days a week, every Tuesday 2pm-5pm, Wednesday 10am-1pm, Thursday 2pm-5pm and Saturday 11am-3pm.

The library's new management have stated that they intend to extend opening times over the next few months as they secure more volunteers.

Government guidelines will be in place to ensure the library is as COVID safe as possible.
