Standing for Liberal Democrats, Jonathan Oxley, said: "Crime – car crime in particularly is growing scourge which needs additional police patrols.

"Dirty and unsafe streets – we need a focus on dealing with fly-tipping hotspots and overhauling our streets and pavements, which have become overgrown and potholed.

"Proper representation – we need harder working Councillors for residents to stand up for issues they care about including opposing tall towers and protecting our beautiful parks and open spaces.

"The Hanger Hill Liberal Democrats have taken urgent action with help from local Lib Dem Councillor Athena Zissimos on car crime at the Brentham Estate.

"The Lib Dem team have been in liaison with the local police, resulting in the following pledges by the police:

"The local police have requested that car crime would be prioritised at a higher level, with more patrols past midnight; Cross borough liaison with Brent borough Police to improve enforcement; Analysing data on lost and/or stolen vehicles to aid future enforcement; and making applications to seize assets of known criminals, such as their cars, homes, or cash."

Fabio Pukaj (Reform UK)

Fabio Pukaj, Reform UK candidate for Hanger Hill, said: "If I had to choose one key issue for Hanger Hill, it would be balancing urban development with preserving its suburban and green character.

"As part of the rapidly developing borough of Ealing, Hanger Hill faces pressures from new housing projects and infrastructure expansions.

"These developments risk eroding the area's peaceful, residential nature and the green spaces that residents value.

"To address this, I would focus on sustainable development practices that protect green spaces while still accommodating growth.

"Ensuring community input in planning decisions, prioritising low-impact developments, and enhancing local parks and recreational areas would help maintain the area's charm while supporting necessary growth.

"This approach ensures that Hanger Hill evolves without sacrificing what makes it a desirable place to live."

The Conservative Party, Labour Party, Green Party and Workers Party of Britain have been approached for comment.
