Gunnersbury Park to host free 'Shooting Stars: Behind the scenes at Ealing Studios' exhibition

GUNNERSBURY Park will be hosting a free 'Shooting Stars: Behind the scenes at Ealing Studios' exhibition, it has been announced.
The event will be held to celebrate the work of Ealing Studios' stills photographer, Roy Gough, who lived in Ealing with his wife for many years.
Gough began his career at Ealing Studios in 1943 and he photographed some of the 20th century's biggest stars, such as Audrey Hepburn and Belinda Lee.
Gough's work was also included on billboards, film posters and promotional materials.
When Gough met his wife Beryl, they married and then went into business together, working on several cult TV shows, such as The Saint and The Prisoner.
When Gough sadly passed away in 2016, his wife, Beryl Booth generously donated his archive to the Gunnersbury Park Museum.
In 2020, Gunnersbury was granted funding to work with Gough's unique and valuable collection.
The work will now be on display for all to see at Gunnersbury Park's Round Pond from tomorrow, April 12, seven days a week, from 7am until dusk.
