A BEAUTY salon in Ealing Broadway has undergone a refurbishment and has now reopened its doors to the public, in line with government restrictions.

Nina Gegelashvili and Nina Omadze are two friends who became business partners in 2019 when they decided to open N&N Hair & Beauty Salon - appropriately named N&N as they both have the same first name.

The salon which is located at 39-41 New Broadway, was open for less than a year before the first lockdown forced it to shut last March.

The two partners then went through a turbulent time of opening and closing the salon due to a further two lockdowns but took the opportunity during the latest lockdown to complete some refurbishment works.

Gegelashvili told Nub News: "We thought it would be a good time to get some work done to the shop as we wouldn't be allowed to open for months anyway.

"We changed the colour of the salon from white to purple, changed the wallpaper in the corridor and the bathroom, and replaced the sofas in the waiting area."

The pair also hired four new members of staff, which all started last Monday, when N&N Hair & Beauty Salon was finally allowed to reopen as per Stage 2 of the Government's roadmap out of lockdown.

The salon has three rooms accommodating all sorts of personal care needs, such as beauticians, massage, laser, along with hairdressers both for men and women.

N&N Hair & Beauty Salon is open seven days a week, 10am-7pm Mondays to Saturdays and 11am-5pm on Sundays.
