Firefighters from Ealing, Acton and Southall stations rush to St Leonards Road blaze

Firefighters were called to a flat fire on St Leonards Road in West Ealing today (September 17).

Crews tackled a small fire in the kitchen of a two-roomed flat on the ground floor of a residential block. Firefighters assisted a woman from a flat who was treated on scene.

The Brigade was called at 1924 and the fire was under control by 1951. Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters from Ealing, Acton and Southall fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
