Everything you need to know about Ealing Film Festival 2024
The Ealing Film Festival (EFF) returns for its fifth year, 'bigger and better than ever'.
Organisers say that this year EFF received 458 films from all over the world with an impressive number from the UK and the London area.
Ealing Picturehouse 'Green Planet' - Monday, 25 November at 6:30pm.
The festival expands to the new Ealing Picturehouse this year, showcasing a Green Planet category which offers a diverse selection of films exploring the natural world.

- The Elements
- Out of Time
- A new world on Earth
- Living Australia
- Sandcastle - The Secret Life Of Potter Wasps
The festival will also screen "Beavers in Paradise," which is a project that reintroduced beavers to Paradise Fields in Ealing, and the first of its kind in the UK.
This is followed by a panel discussion with:
- Dr. Sean McCormack: Conservationist, Veterinarian, and Presenter
- Matt Brierley: Filmmaker
- Nadya Mirotnitchenko: Project Ecologist
ActOne 'Homegrown' - Tuesday, 26 November at 6:30pm.
The cinema has a special category for 'Homegrown' entries this year which will feature ilms either made by local people or filmed within the borough of Ealing.
From these, the best films in this category are to be screened at ActOne and at the end of the evening we will be awarding the trophy for the Best Homegrown Film.
In its second screening ActOne will be featuring another selection of new films, this time from across the UK, demonstrating the "imagination and the skills" of the countries filmmakers.

Pitzhanger Manor 'Animation, VFX and Experimental' - Thursday, 28 November at 5:30pm
Several of the films submitted to EFF this year have included AI content so EFF is bringing together some of its festival judges - all industry professionals - for a panel discussion about what AI means for the future of film and cinema.

Ealing Picturehouse 'Student' - Friday, 29 November at 6:30pm
The final day of the EFF and student category brings the best entries from students across not just Ealing but London. Films will be screened at Ealing Picturehouse.

Following the screenings, the winners of the 2024 Ealing Film Festival Awards will be announced.
