An educational charity is working to provide more books for schools in Greater London to help encourage children to get into reading. 

The Ihezie Foundation have been donating books to primary schools across the capital, helping to improve the libraries in these schools, helping children to discover a love for reading, with 2,000 books donated so far. 

The Foundation have partnered with online book retailers, charities, and recyclers such as the Ealing-based Choice Textile, to obtain plenty of high-quality children's books, which range from new releases to classics. 

Michael Bloedorn, Managing Director of the Ihezie Foundation, said: "We are thrilled to witness the positive impact our book donation program has had on so many schools in London. 

"By providing schools with access to quality children's books, we are nurturing a love for reading, expanding young minds, and creating a brighter future for our students.
