Ealing's Running Mayor recognised for 25 years of service to running industry

WE RUN EALING Chair, Ealing's Running Mayor and long time Hanwell resident, Tom Kerry, was recognised for more than 25 years of service to running.

The Running Conference, a joint initiative promoted by the Running Industry Alliance and England Athletics, celebrates contributions the industry.

Kerry was recognised for his services to mass participation running events, his strategic, promotional and ambassadorial roles, his volunteering and his role in Ealing's running community.

The organisation say the 'Ealing Running Mayor' has a "passion and desire" to make Ealing a better place to live by creating and delivering a range of running activities for all residents to enjoy.

WE RUN EALING comment: "In 2021 he was selected as Ealing's Running Mayor to inspire people to use running as a form of active travel.
