Ealing's Trash & Treasure markets announced that just over £800 has been raised from their raffles so far over the last year for local charities.

Prizes were donated by Coyle Dowling Real Estate agency, with tickets bought by the Ealing community at the independent markets that take place across the borough.

Trash & Treasure started as a means to support small Ealing traders and show off the talent the borough has to offer.

They have so far raised £803 for the following Ealing charities:

£203 - Mind

£195 - Ealing FoodBank

£120 - Ealing Soup Kitchen

£200 - Young Ealing Foundation

£160 - Pitshanger Community Centre

"We've been overwhelmed with the support from the local community in response to our markets at The Brentham Club," Trash & Treasure organisers, Jody and Amanda said. "We are looking forward to coming back in the new year with more monthly Street Food Night Markets and Vintage markets.

"We are always on the lookout for new traders, so please do get in touch if you are interested in trading with us next year.

"And please subscribe to our newsletter to keep up with all the dates and news from the Trash & Treasure crew."

Their vintage and artisan markets take place on the last Sunday of every month, introducing a 'new European-style anything goes' market to Ealing.

Their popular street food night markets feature a selection of food vendors supporting local small businesses.
