Ealing's South Greenford station named London's least used train station

SOUTH Greenford station in Ealing has been named London's least used train station, for the period from April 2019 to March 2020.

According to railway regulator, Office of Rail and Road, South Greenford received only 28,382 passengers during the entire year, which corresponds to just 78 per day.

In addition, two more Ealing stations are part of the bottom five least used stations in the Capital.

Drayton Green comes in at number two with just 31,610 passengers, with Castle Bar Park in fifth with 81,088.

At the other end of the spectrum, London's busiest train station was Waterloo, with 86.9 million passengers, which corresponds to around 238,082 per day.

Waterloo is also the country's most used station, whereas at the bottom of the pile is Berney Arms in Norfolk, that accommodated just 42 passengers over the entire year.
