TICKETS are still available to hear artist Julian Opie talk about his exhibition at the Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery in Ealing.
The 'artist introduction' event this Wednesday will feature visual artist Julian Opie discussing the ideas and inspiration behind his new work, including the French medieval village landscape.
His art can be explored in multiple forms inside and out of the gallery, including his distinctive walking figures, Portuguese baroque towers and animal sculptures.
A couple of his visual pieces are on display outside in the garden like the crows which can be found in Walpole Park.
In a video about his work, Opie said: "I've tried to stretch the show out through these various spaces.
"It's a neoclassical building and it has these large columns with statues on top and I thought, since I'm playing with those ideas of statuary and public figures and plinths and materials like stone and metal, that I could use that and play off against it, but it's in my own method."
The evening event will take place either for a 6:30pm or 7:30pm slot.
Tickets cost £12, with Ealing residents receiving a concession price of £7.
There will be a refreshments bar available.
For more details on the event got to the Pitzhanger website.
