EALING Trailfinders' match against Saracens tomorrow at 3pm is expected to be the only men's rugby match played in England this weekend.

This comes as the French government forced the postponement of both the European Champions and the Challenge Cup matches this weekend, in order to halt the spread of coronavirus.

This, coupled with the Premier League's decision to have a circuit break - again due to COVID - has left England with no live rugby this weekend, apart from Trainfilders vs Saracens.

The match is part of the new pre-season tournament, called the Trailfinders Challenge Cup, between the two aforementioned sides and Doncaster Knights.

Seeing as this is expected to be the only men's rugby match played this weekend, BT Sport are reportedly interested in securing the TV rights in order to broadcast the game and fill the void left by the postponed European matches.

Ealing are already offering a streaming broadcast service for the match, which is free for season ticket holders, but will cost £8.99 for everyone else.

This will be a great opportunity for Trailfinders to showcase their ability and aspirations in front of a national audience, with many 'starved' rugby fans expected to tune in.
