TfL have announced a new Superloop fast bus service which will go through Ealing and links the outer boroughs of London.

The new service will incorporate six new bus routes, of which four will create the Superloop that goes around the edge of London.

Two of the new routes will go through Ealing, with Northolt being a part of the Harrow to Heathrow route and Ealing Hospital and Ealing Broadway are a part of the route going from Uxbridge to White City.

The other routes are: Royal Docks to Walthamstow, Walthamstow to North Finchley, North Finchley to Harrow, Heathrow to Croydon, Croydon to Bromley, Bromley to Bexley Heath, and Canary Wharf to Grove Park.

The plan for this new fast bus service is to have limited stops at key areas like in the centre of boroughs, hospitals, schools, and transport interchanges to encourage people to use the bus more often by making it faster.

There is also the proposal for future routes which would include Hillingdon, Hounslow, Brent, Bexleyheath, Bromley, Sutton and Havering.

The routes could add over four million kilometres to London's bus network and is part of efforts by the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan to improve public transport in the city for when the ULEZ expands in August.
