Ealing Police has confirmed that a group of teens "stormed" a shop, stole goods and assaulted staff in Greenford on Saturday night (21 January).

Officers arrived at the scene but failed to catch the suspects despite arriving "two minutes" after dispatch.

Via X, Ealing Police said: "WAMSC and their PC Co-Ordinator on patrol last night. We responded to a call on @MPSGreenfordBwy where a group of teenagers stormed a shop, stole items, assaulted the shopkeepers and made off. Despite being there within 2 minutes of the call the suspects made off."

It continued: "Pt2; CCTV enquiries have been conducted to identify the suspects. Thankfully low level injuries received. An intel report has been submitted so all officers are aware of this reoccurring problem. We will be focussing our patrols around this location.

"Pt3: We then attended a house party where a male was knocked unconscious. The victim didn't want to talk to Police about the matter so @Ldn_Ambulance took the male to hospital for treatment. We then continued our burglary patrols in areas where intelligence directs us to hotspots."

Ealing Police are now going to increase patrol in Greenford and are trying to identify the suspects.
