Officers investigating a sexual assault in Ealing earlier this month have released a CCTV image from the scene in an appeal to the public for information.

At 9.50pm on Sunday (June 19), a man approached a woman at Greenford tube station and began speaking to her about her bag.

He then sexually assaulted her and ran away.

Police believe the man pictured here in CCTV images released yesterday may have information that could help their investigation.

In the images, he appears to have dark, shoulder length hair and a beard, and is dressed in light grey tracksuit bottoms and a light grey hoodie worn beneath a black gilet.

Anyone who recognises him, or has other information, is asked to contact British Transport Police by calling 0800 40 50 40, or by texting 61016, quoting reference 573 of 19/06/22.

To contact BTP anonymously, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
