Ealing: Local care home provider celebrate Dementia Awareness Week

Local care home provider, Right at Home Ealing, celebrated Dementia Awareness Week at Syon House on Monday, 13 May.

The year's theme focused on bringing the UK together to take action on improving dementia diagnosis rates.

Right at Home had over 200 residents registered and more popping in on the day.

The event consisted of expert talks, interactive workshops, nature walks and well being therapies.

  • Namaste hand Massage
  • Qijong

Head of Hounslow Council, Shantanu Rajawat and Councillor of Adult Social Services, Samia Chaudhary, assisted in the event's positive atmosphere and impact says Right at home.

Sanjay Vadhera, Managing Director of Right at Home Ealing says: "It was evident that their presence, along with that of all participants, created an environment of community and support that resonated with everyone involved.

"I believe they enjoyed the event as much as the participants did."
