Ealing Liberal Democrats members attend an anti-racism rally in Southall on Saturday, 10 August at the steps of the Southall Town Hall.

Humaira Sanders, Ealing Liberal Democrats member, says: "I am proud to have represented the Liberal Democrats and Lib Dem Campaign for Race Equality (LDCRE) at this important gathering to unite against racism. It's important that we can show that a wide range of political opinion has united against racism."

Sanders adds: "The steps we stood on of the Old Town Hall in Southall was powerful as that's where the National Front walked into a meeting at the Town Hall on the day that Blair Peach was killed by police."

The Lib Dems Campaign for Race Equality (LDCRE) aims to 'develop the education, participation and representation of ethnic minorities within the Party.'
