EALING developer, Broadway Living and its development, Copley Hanwell, have been shortlisted for two awards at the Planning Awards 2021.

Copley is part of Ealing Borough's plans to deliver 2,500 new affordable homes by 2022.

The Hanwell development is up for the award of 'Partnership Working' and for 'Planning for Affordable Housing'.

The Planning Awards reward excellence in professional planning work, as well as placemaking, urban design, economic development, housing, regeneration, legal advice, environmental consulting and property development.

The 'Partnership Working' award recognises teams that have demonstrated how drawing on individuals and teams from different organisations, backgrounds and disciplines has enabled improvement to the physical or environmental quality of a place or the economic or social well-being of a community.

The 'Planning for Affordable Housing' prize recognises projects that demonstrate how its professional planning work has helped to increase provision for below market cost housing that has improved or is likely to improve the physical or environmental quality of a place or the economic or social well-being of a community.

The winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony on June 9 and 10.
