Ealing Foodbank has published a shopping list with details of the donations most urgently needed.
Each month the local foodbank, which as part of The Trussell Trust delivers emergency food to people in crisis, reveals the provisions in highest demand.
Among the items most needed this month are tinned goods, long life milk, instant coffee and savoury biscuits.
On Wednesdays food donations can be made through its Hanwell warehouse at St Mellitus Church Hall between 10am - 4pm.
Alternatively, a huge number of donations points across Ealing can be found below (or here on the Ealing Foodbank website).

In a post on its social media page, Ealing Foodbank wrote: "Here is our list of most needed items this October. Thank you so much for your donations; every tin helps so much!
"A little stat for the day. So far in 2022, Ealing foodbank has purchased around 20% of the food we've distributed to clients. As demand rises, we really need your support through the upcoming months.
"You can drop your food donations into St Mellitus Church Hall (W7 3BA) on Wednesdays between 10-4 or at any of the donation points around the borough. Information about where to donate can be found on our website under give help->donate food."
