AN Ealing fish restaurant has won Best Seafood Dish of the Year and Readers' Choice awards by halal food news website, Feed the Lion.

Bronek's Fish Restaurant is owned by head chef, Bronek Kamiensky and is located on Northfield Avenue in Northfields.

Last week we published that Bronek's had been nominated for the Restaurant of the Year award.

Feed the Lion have now announced the results and Bronek's finished in joint second place, but also managed to win two other awards.

Bronek's won Best Seafood Dish for its grouper fish and was also named the Readers' Choice, gaining the largest share of the public vote.

Feed the Lion described Bronek's as a "hidden gem with owner Bronek using decades worth of experience to offer a combination of improvised and set menu dishes."

Kamiensky told Nub News: "I've been around fish my entire life, I spent a lot of time on the Cornish coast and fish is my expertise.

"Being nominated and winning is great, it helps spread the word that we're a family business with fresh seafood."
