Ealing: Firefighters called to tackle house fire in Perivale

Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a fire at a terraced house on Thames Avenue, Perivale on Friday, 1 March. 

The London Fire Brigade (LFB) has said that 'most of the roof, part of the first floor and a small part of the ground floor were damaged by the fire.' 

LFB crews were called at 9:44pm and the fire was under control by 11:06pm.

Firefighters from Ealing, Northolt, Southall and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.

LFB used one of the Brigade's 32-metre turntable ladders as an observation platform during the blaze. 

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
