Our top pick for this week is the Hootie on the Mount in Acton.

The day-long music event this Saturday will see the infamous west-London rock festival, Hanwell Hootie, make a return to Ealing.

Local, up-and-coming talent will be showcased, with the day aiming to bring the community together through the power of live music.

Acts playing include, guitarist/vocalist David Stone, Celtic inspired artist Amy Mayson, blues boy Tommy Hare, west-London born, singer-songwriter Lola Aviva, Reggae 6-piece The Wise Bloods and soulful singer Emily Lee.

The event is hosted by the Ealing High Streets Task Force, who work in partnership with Ealing Council and the local business community.

Hootie on the Mount will take place this Saturday, 9 October, from 11 am to 5 pm.

The Mount can be found at W3 9NW, next to St Marys Church and Morrisons in Acton.
