Ealing Council have unveiled their new designs and improvements for Northolt and have invited residents to give their feedback on them.

The consultation will be open until Monday 8th May, many businesses and residents have already said they would like to see money spent on building wider pavements, more pedestrian crossings, additional bicycle lanes and extra trees.

The council and Transport for London secured £7.2 million in funding for roads, pavements, and travel improvements to benefit all road users, including cyclists and pedestrians.

Councillor Shital Manro, the council's cabinet member for good growth, said: "We have had an encouraging response to the plans so far so please do take a moment to share your views with us and help us to make Northolt a better place for everyone.

"Your views matter to us, and will inform our decisions.

"We've taken on board your feedback and had some brilliant suggestions for improvements. Ealing Council will continue to put residents' views firmly at the heart of all of our plans."

There are several ways to get involved with the consultation: visit the public exhibition at Northolt Leisure Centre Library or Northolt Library on Church Road; attend a drop-in session at Islip Manor Community Centre or Northala Field Café; complete an online survey; or obtain and complete a paper survey from Northolt Leisure Centre Library.
